Life of the Afterparty is a rock band from Sacramento, CA, led by lead singer Zack Zaballos and lead guitarist Adam Schild.

The band wanted their debult album ‘Red Light Special’ to illustrate their four band members, an old mustang, and neon signage depicting their song titles in the background. The feeling we were hoping to demonstrate were edgy tones, alternative rock, and collaboration.

Life of the Afterparty Vinyl Cover Redesign - 2021

In 2021, Life of the Afterparty (LOTA) decided to redesign their debut album cover to be fit for limited edition vinyl record and record cover. We wanted ties to the original design but with a bolder aesthetic. Something that’d make customers want to pull it off the shelf for a second look. I decided to go with a front view and rear view of the car with a head on approach to the title and song list.
